Spring Maintenance
PRE-MOW CLEAN UP: Clean up lawn surface, includes spot raking, stick and debris pickup to prepare for mowing season
SPRING CLEAN UP: Clean up all garden beds. Includes: Weeding, edging, mulching and pruning, disposal of debris. Leaf blow sand and dirt off walkways and driveway
SPRING/SUMMER MAINTENANCE
GARDEN FERTILIZING: Fertilize plants with appropriate fertilizer or compost
DE-THATCH LAWN: De thatch lawn and clean up thatch to increase water and air circulation and improve fertilizer uptake
LAWN MOWING: Weekly Mowing
LAWN MOWING: Bi-weekly mowing or as needed. Weekly or every five days during fast growing season, bi weekly during slow growing periods
LAWN MOWING: Cut lawn 2.5 to 3 inches and leave clippings (healthiest choice for lawns)
LAWN MOWING: Cut Lawn 2-2.5 inches and bag clippings
LAWN MOWING: Always remove clippings
LAWN CARE: Apply pre emergent and post emergent weed control, fertilize and grub control
ORNAMENTAL TREE/SHRUB PRUNING: Reduce risk of disease and promote growth by removing dead and crossing branches, increasing circulation, removing suckers and shaping/aesthetic cuts, always done with proper technique once per season, usually after blooming
FRUIT TREE PRUNING: Promote fruiting growth by pruning in dormant season (winter) this should be done annually. Specializing in apples trees and blueberry bushes , but also recommended for pear, cherry and peach trees
SUMMER WEEDING: Prune, weed and dead head plants in garden beds twice per month with a 4- 6 hour visit each time May-mid September

AERATE/COMPOST AND OVERSEED: Promote a healthy lawn the natural way by aerating and composting your soil. Increases soil quality and reduces need for pelletized fertilizing over time this really enhances turf and soil quality
LIME ACIDIC LAWNS: Increase turf quality in soils overshadowed by oaks and pines by a regular fall application of lime. Soil test is recommended before application
FALL MAINTENANCE
FALL CLEAN UP: Clean up all leaves on property and remove, rake garden beds, do necessary perennial cut backs, dead heading and pruning. Fall mowing will help to keep on top of leaves in lawn
WINTERIZE SENSITIVE PLANTS: Includes construction and placement of wooden covers for plants along foundation to protect from crushing snow weight. Wilt pruf and burlap wrap plants away from roof lines and snowblower to protect from wind and dehydration. Recommended for broadleaf evergreens, specimen trees and shrubs any marginally hardy plants.
